ABOUT THE PRESIDENT

Prof SA Isezuo assumed office as the president of the Nigerian Hypertension Society on 5th December 2023. He joined the Society as a senior registrar and has previously served as the Chairman, Local Organising Committee for the 2006 Annual General Meeting and Scientific Council (Caliphate 2006) in Sokoto, Assistant Secretary and Vice President and. Prof SA Isezuo also served as a member of the Committee on the Guideline for the Management of Hypertension in Nigeria. Prof SA Isezuo, a 1985 MBBS graduate of the University of Ibadan holds a Master degree in Health Profession Education (Keele), MD, and Fellowship of the Medical College of Physic (FMCP), FRCP (Lond) and FESC. He is also a Fellow, Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (Phil). He is currently an editorial board member of the World Journal of Hypertension and has published several papers on hypertension.
